This seminar looks “Operation Himmelblick”, as a case study for urban practice. The young and cross disciplinary collective “Stadtgewitter” is activating a roofscape of a Berlin-Mitte housing block as a social space for residents and the neighborhood.
The seminar will use interviews and quantitative studies to learn how th impact of such activation can be described. Beyond the seminar, students are invited to take part in building actions and become an acive part of the transformation.
