This compact practical seminar provides an introduction to the field of digital color correction and color grading in film and video. Based on theoretical principles and practical exercises, key aspects and approaches of digital post-production and image processing will be explored and developed. Participants will gain insights into the workflows and learn the basic functions of grading software Da Vinci Resolve.
Content Summary:
- Artistic and technical aspects of digital color correction/color grading
- Image signals, processing, workflow
- Practical work with Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve
- Green Screen Keying (if necessary)
Participants are asked to bring their own video material to the seminar. The seminar and self-study will also include learning materials from Blackmagic Design.
