Forced Entertainment
ROBIN ARTHUR is a co-founder of the performance collective FORCED ENTERTAINMENT THEATRE. Since 2001 he has been based in Berlin, and has taught at the HBK Braunschweig, the Goethe University Frankfurt/Main, and the University of Gießen amongst others. Forced Entertainment is a British group of artists. Founded in 1984 in Sheffield they produce works that span the genres of theatre, installation, performance, digital media and film. Since the beginning of the 90s, Forced Entertainment are regular guests and produce works in german speaking countries, most notably their performances and durational performances at the Berlin Volksbühne on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, the Frankfurt Künstlerhaus Mousonturm and the Tanzquartier Wien amongst others.
