The Master's programme in music therapy is subject to a fee. The fee is 407 EUR per month plus a one-off starting fee of 1,850 EUR, i.e. 16,502 EUR for the entire course of study if the course lasts 6 semesters. The semester fee is due in addition. Since our degree programme is part-time, you have the option of being exempted from the costs for the semester ticket included in it. Currently (WS23/24), however, no semester ticket is offered.

The study programme Music Therapy is not eligible for BAföG.  However, it is possible to take out an student loan. Furthermore, you can apply for educational leave (applies to Berlin, other federal states please enquire) to participate in the Master's programme as well as in our music therapy certificate courses and workshops. These are considered recognized in accordance with § 10 (5) of the Berlin Education Time Act [BiZeitG] in the version of 05.07.2021 (GVBl. S. 849).
