The Berlin University of the Art’s degree programme Musical/Show prepares actors who sing and dance for careers on the German-speaking musical stage.
Since its inception in 1990, more than one hundred fifty students have successfully completed the programme led by Stanley Walden (until 2000), Peter Kock (until 2013) and Peter Lund and subsequently found engagements in long-running musical productions, in state and municipal theatres as well as in film and television.
Teaching focuses on three key subjects: vocal training, dance and acting. Students learn to integrate these three forms of expression with each other fully and develop into outstanding performers and stage personalities.
