How is the academic year organized in Berlin?
In Germany, the academic year is divided into two semesters: the winter semester at UdK Berlin usually begins in the second half of October and ends around the middle of February. The summer semester begins in the second half of April and ends mid-July.

When do the entrance examinations take place?
The exams are usually at the the end of January/beginning of February for the summer semester and end of June/early July for the winter semester.

When is the application deadline?
You can apply between October 15th andDecember 15th for the summer semester, and between March 15th and May 15th for the winter semester. These dates may vary slightly. Therefore, please check for updates under www.udk-berlin.de
