In the winter semester 22/23 and summer semester 23, students from the Visual Communication course at the Berlin University of the Arts devoted themselves to the subject of screenshots in the screen printing workshop in the Medienhaus.

The Klasse Kampagnen class travelled to New York in the summer of 2024 and visited partner universities, exhibitions, design studios and agencies as well as institutions such as the German House and the United Nations.

We are delighted that Gala Rummenhöller's and Leo Bauer's submissions from the basics of visual communication have been shortlisted for the EU Commission's ‘First Choice’ poster competition.

Within our project SPACES OF THE ANIMALS at Raumklasse in the summer semester 2024 we will explore human-animal relationships and how these are addressed and manifested through spatial structures and material realities.

The exhibition "Aesthetics of the Norm" explores different perspectives on norms. It offers aesthetic strategies for irritating norms, perception and evaluation.

The Medienhaus Stammtisch is a gathering of students to exchange discourse and skills, primarily in the area of design. The Stammtisch is and also open to all students, outside of Visual Communication.

Over the last 25 years, the Illustration class has developed intelligent solutions for design tasks in politics, culture, science, business and society, which Henning Wagenbreth is now making accessible in a book.

The students of the New Media Class at UdK Berlin are engaged with the creation and critical reflection of new technologies of communicating, feeling and sensing the unknown present and future.

As part of the 48h Neukölln Festival - Art Space Lab, we, five artists, are reflecting on this year's festival theme "kafayı yemek", "What makes us want to eat our heads?".

Referring to the function keys of old video devices, the exhibition "Rewind & Fast Forward" will show video works and installations by 12 graduates of the study programs Visual Communication and Art and Media.
