Concert with the Paul-Hindemith-Gesellschaft e. V. – crescendo
Chamber concert with scholarship holders of the Paul-Hindemith-Gesellschaft in Berlin e. V.
Studying music requires discipline since early childhood, talent, enthusiasm and, unfortunately, money. The upkeep for the instruments, fees for master classes and competitions are added to the usual cost of living. In return, the work of the Paul Hindemith Society in Berlin e. V. represents an invaluable asset for UdK students. Founded by Hans Scharoun and Herbert von Karajan, among others, and chaired by Prof. Roswitha Staege, it supports an average of 25-30 students each year, both financially and in terms of ideas. An essential part of the support are the concerts with scholarship holders of the association as well as their chamber music partners. In this concert you can experience the young scholarship holders with chamber music works from three centuries and get to know the valuable voluntary work of the Paul Hindemith Society.
