The jury selected 10 artists from 29 applications. The works of the nominees will be exhibited on 23 and 24 May in the foyer and the Quergalerie at Hardenbergstraße 33.
Education Needs Budget! is a student initiative at the University of the Arts Berlin protesting against the budget cuts imposed by the black-red Berlin Senate. The student body of UdK Berlin calls for solidarity in opposing the Senate’s cuts to science and culture.
From June to September 2025 the international Berlin Summer University of the Arts offers a programme of over 30 courses in all artistic disciplines as well as interdisciplinary formats. Under this year's motto Utopia, visions for a better world will be created.
