Introduction of mandatory FFP2 masks and no attendance documentation for events with audience

Regulation of 7 February 2022

  1. FFP2 mask requirement:
    • The mask obligation that prevails at the universities anyway (according to §26 of the regulation of the state of Berlin) becomes a FFP2 mask obligation. This means: medical masks are not to be used from now on, but only FFP2 masks.
    • The few exceptions for mask-free work at the UdK Berlin remain, as communicated on January 4: for singing, acting, speech training, wind instruments, dance as well as in examinations (in these cases combined with the known specifications: only for persons with second vaccination in small formats or with third vaccination or with double vaccination plus PCR test).
  2. Attendance documentation:
    • As of now, attendance documentation is no longer required for events with an audience.
    • The control of the 2gplus- status for events with audience remains. Only the documentation is omitted.
