Now Online: The Unconscious Bias Training for Greater Equal Opportunities in Appointment Procedures
“Equal Opportunities in Appointment Procedures – An Unconscious Bias Training” is a collaborative project by Technische Universität Berlin and Universität der Künste Berlin, supported by the Berlin Program for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities for Women in Research and Teaching and the Einstein Foundation Berlin.
Biases that influence appointment procedures as distortive effects can arise during these processes. The Unconscious Bias Training aims to raise awareness among appointment committee members about unconscious biases in appointment procedures, with a particular focus on gender bias.
