UdK Berlin expresses its solidarity with the striking students and teachers of SZFE in Budapest. The Hungarian government suspended the rights of the rectorate, the senate and the institutes by restructuring the institution. This is seriously violating the autonomy and educational freedom of the university. As Berlin University of the Arts, we stand up for freedom of teaching and research and fully support the struggle of Budapest's students and staff for the preservation of their basic democratic order.
