The Berlin Summer University of the Arts 2022 new programme is out now and registration is now open! In 2022, the workshops are assigned to the following categories:

• Embodiment raises questions such as which experiences of physical activity and specific body knowledge, physical encounter and its absence can be productively used for artistic projects.
   
• Material Cultures immerses into a specific artistic discipline, focuses on intensive artistic research practices and tracks down their potentials by concentrating on one material.
   
• Borders and Encounters explores new possibilities of collective artistic work and exchange within a local or territorially broad and low-threshold encounter space. This space can be digital, analogue or hybrid and enable artistic participation of new actors within and outside the institution and across many disciplines in an experimental way.
