Christoph Manz

Christoph Manz, born in Switzerland, first studied physics at ETH Zürich and then cinematography at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin, learning from and encouraged by Michael Ballhaus, Edward Yang, Sophie Maintigneux, Helmut Färber, Sławomir Idziak, Martin Kukula and Béla Tarr, among others.
He works as cinematographer and in post-production for art projects, independent films and documentaries and teaches in the field of film and video at the Universität der Künste Berlin.
Responsibility
Christoph Manz is part of the Medienwerkstatt at the Faculty of Fine Arts and the person to contact for artistic projects in the field of film, video and sound recording.
