Judith Siegmund, member of the advisory board of BAS and Judith Raum, alumna of the Graduate School, take part in the symposium “Was war Design?“ by the Institute for History and Theory of Design at Berlin University of the Arts.

Judith Siegmund presents "Kunst und Design im Wechselverhältnis von Funktionalität und Nichtfunktionalität" and Judith Raum "Stoffbesprechung. Zum Werk der Bauhaus-Weberin Otti Berger".

The symposium “Was war Design” draws on the old future orientation of Design, when it questions current research. In three sections, we examine the genealogy of Design, follow up the current status of Design theories and focus on the latest politics of Design.
