At UdK we often work on the same floor, but are not familiar with the research questions the others are working on. They might be similar to your own or you are facing similar challenges and problems. BAS is a platform for networking and exchange for all who completed their Master or Diploma degree and do their doctorate, research or upgrade their education through follow-up arts projects. 

After a longer break BAS (Berlin Centre for Advanced Studies in Arts and Sciences) is back with its informal meetings named “bas-treff informell”, an opportunity to meet, exchange and network over waffles. 

The meeting allows you to chat with like-minded people and provides space for conversations, friendly advice, inspiration, exchange and developing ideas for joint projects. 

At the last meeting the idea came up to initiate a thematically oriented colloquium with participants from across all disciplines. We would like to talk more about this idea and others over fresh waffles, tea and coffee.
