What happens if we use the complexity of the world as it is – with all accessable analog and digital means – as a game platform?
After an introduction into the basics of game design we will play some street-games classics and then get inspired by an urban area to our own sitespecific design. These will be iterated, testes and developped together the follwing two days. A selection of the newly developped games could later be part of the festival You Are GO!, which will be taking place for the first time in Berlin during the summer of 2011 at Hebbel-am-Ufer (HAU) along the lines of the US american street-games festivals such as Come Out & Play, Hide & Seek Weekende and igFest.
