Comicality as autobiographic excess, overload of useless data, desperate kidnapping, everything shaken and steered, exploited and put to use and in the end: bread and butter. Or herring with egg. Howling comes easily after all.

Vanessa Stern – actress, explorer and activist – explores the permanent crisis of comicality- that women find themselves in, being granted only a marginal say in the cultural realm of the funny side – in her project “Howling is for Everyone. Female comicaltity in a crisis.”

Due to to that she has founded the crisis center for female comicality during her scholarship at the Graduate School for Arts and Science at the UdK Berlin.

La Dernière Crise – Women at the Verge of Comicality is a outsourced laboratory of her research project, a late night show, in which she invites women from different backgrounds and countries to adress ‘their crisis’ in an artistic and comical way.
