And I guess one of the reasons why we got here today was because of a gentleman named Galileo, a long time ago, who made a rather significant discovery about falling objects in gravity fields. And we thought where would be a better place to confirm his findings than on the Moon. […] Source: NASA, Apollo 15, Lunar Surface Journal, Transcript

The FORSCHUNGSFLOSS – Institut für Kunst und Subjektive Wissenschaft (Institute for Art and Subjective Science) of the artist Agnes Meyer-Bradis will be presenting current results of the “Fall-Labor”. The focus of this department high above the airfield lies in the exploration of movement migration between earth and sky, moments and objects, which are in between falling and flying. The exhibition is also giving insights into the work of the “Zentralen Abteilung für Kontrollräume (central division for control rooms)” (ZAK), a continuously changing poetic archive, in which various experiments, observations and methods of the artist are merging.
About Forschungsfloss:
Ten years ago Agnes Meyer-Brandis founded FORSCHUNGSFLOSS (www.ffur.de) which is to be understood as a continuously transforming meta installation forming the Institut für Kunst und subjektive Wissenschaft. The institute is artistically exploring reality with performances, lectures and installations.
The institute can occur in tents, on boats, on islands, in an explorer airplane, in museums or on glacier*6. The contents of the world wide research is taking place at the verge of the perception of realities known to us: in holes, stones, clouds, in zero gravity.
