The ’Salon Aesthetic Experiments’ is devoted to projects and approaches, which relate different scientific disciplines and artistic genres to each other.
The two-part exhibition FACELESS is presenting various contemporary works and projects on the subject „Facelessness“.
Within the frame work of an artistic action the participants will be trying to bring an example of a production process to mind. Towards the end of the seminar a publication should describe, picture, document and reflect the production process experienced by the participants.

What is it about? Connections and collisions in the relationship of films and painting as an art form. How do different artists deal with the separation? What are the relations between cinema and painting?
In the course of the film programme of the MUMOK Wien “Proben auf Excempel – Make to the Test” both the films ‘Tragödien aus der Stadt – Tragedies from the City” and “ensemble” of Eva Könnemann will be shown.
Vanessa Stern founded the “Female Comicality Crisis Center”. Within the frame work La Dernière Crise, she invites women to explore their comical abilities in front of an audience. Every show responds to an overall topic, but the concept and content stand for themselves each evening.

The way things may go – an installation of causally linked processes, that the Class de Campo has created with partners of three other universities- will be shown at the European Media Art Festival Osnabrück
Anthony Iles and Benjamin Noys will lead a workshop focusing on their recent interests in vitalism and critique (Noys), markets, entropy, exhaustion and the end of probability (Iles). The workshop is followed by a film screening of 2 short videos by Downstairs Productions, Ilya Lipkin (US/Germany) & Joen P. Wedel (Denmark).
