Variable World: A Symposium on Simulation
Variable World: A Symposium on Simulation
To possess power in the modern age is to have dominion over uncertainty. Precise accounting of contingency has become a central tenet, not only for fields of applied forecasting, but to the whole of experimental and aesthetic practice.
One of our fellows, Ralf Baecker, will take part in the symposium „Variable World“ organised by AVANT and LEAP. It will bring together practitioners and scholars from the arts and sciences to examine the crucial role simulation plays in contemporary inductive thought and its profound influence on reality.
