"Welcome to the hotchpotch of the Volksbühne! Every 100 years the doors open, the time has come: Enter and discover fabulous creatures and speaking kraken. Hear the shimmering sounds of strings and bygone melodies. Encounter invisible mythical creatures and come along on the journey into the most hidden corners of the world!"
A project by Nuria Nuñez Hierro in cooperation with Iñigo Giner Miranda (director), Àngela Ribera (stage design/costumes), Anna von Gehren (dramaturgy) and the Ensemble DieOrdnungderDinge (Vera Kardos, Cathrin Romeis, Meriel Price, Samuel Stoll and Alba Gentili-Tedeschi). Performance: 22nd October 2016: 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. Duration: approximately 45min. Free admission. The final rehearsal is open for families and the interested public; we are looking forward to your visit! Due to limited capacities, we kindly ask for reservations, open spots will be distributed among those present before the performance or the final rehearsal begins. Bestiarium is a cooperation between the Graduate School at Berlin University of the Arts and the Grüner Salon at Volksbühne Berlin. Bestiarium’s premieres in the frame of the Graduale 16, the closing event of the studyprogramme of the Graduate Schoo, which is supported by the Einstein Stiftung Berlin.
