We warmly welcome our new research fellow and coordinator Hannah Wiemer to the BAS team.
 
Hannah Wiemer studied theatre studies and Spanish philology at Freie Universität Berlin and finished her master programme in 2013. She was a freelancer for two years at Theater Ballhaus Naunynstraße, where she worked as assistant director, assistant curator and she was involved in festival production. As author and theatre critic she wrote for the blog of the Berliner Theatertreffen. Since 2014 she works on her dissertation with the working title "Camouflage. Landschaftslektüren
zwischen Theater, Kunst und Krieg 1914-45".
 
She will give a lecture titled “Paul Scheerbarts Kriegstheater – Imaginationen eines entgrenzten Raums“ as part of the three-day symposium “Kriegstheater. Darstellungen von Krieg, Kampf und Schlacht in Drama und Theater seit der Antike“.
