Our alumna Judith Raum presents in the framework of the exhibition “Syndrome – Im Schatten der Ordnung“ by Maria Manasterny and Deborah Uhde the lecture-performance “GEGENZEIT“ at the Schwartzsche Villa Berlin.

Judith Raum restages a talk she had with the psychoanalyst and affect researcher Rainer Krause at Volksbühne in 2016. They talked about George's Didi-Hubermans thesis to Aby Warburg, to read time and body models in line with Freud's theory: affective gestures in the Fine Arts, the paradoxes, anachronisms and displacements could be explained best with Sigmund Freud's term “symptom”.
