Sophiensaele presents the performance “Hundeplatz” by our former freelancer Hendrik Quast and Maika Knoblich.

A dog is a thankful partner because its love is unconditional. To own a dog is to learn to love. But every relationship is also a bit of work: a daily improvisation of commitment, letting go again, creating intimacy and drawing boundaries. Naturally obedience becomes discipline, dominance and submission. Hundeplatz serves as a playground for leash-less instincts and muzzle-free desires. But beware: dog language is easily confusing! The new discipline Cross-Cruising© invites all on the adventurous obstacle courses of couples’ communication in unconditional love. A performance by dogs for people.
