“To Become Two”: Film Screening, Salon, Book Launch
In the frame of the event “Mai 68 – Assemblée Générale” at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, our alumna Alex Martinis Roe will present a new step of her project “To Become Two”. This will involve a screening of the project’s six films on 2 May at 8 pm in the Pompidou’s Petite Salle, a salon and public workshop on 3 May at 6pm in the Pompidou’s Forum, and a book launch of her new book 'To Become Two: Propositions for Feminist Collective Practice,' Berlin: Archive Books, 2018 in the Pompidou's Librairie Flammarion.
Furthermore, another book launch will take place Monday 30 April 2018, 6 - 8pm at Casco - Office for Art, Design and Theory in Utrecht.
Alex Martinis Roe also takes part in the ongoing group show “More Than Mere Jelly” at CCS Bard Hessel Museum in New York that is still open until 27 May 2018.
