Anke Nowottne researches the performativity of theory. Her project "Schiffbruch des Zuschauers" asks in which ways the presentation of theory differs from artistic practice.
Anke Nowottne. Born 1978 in Dresden; in Berlin since 2005. Studies of photography and graphic design in Dortmund, St. Petersburg (Russia) and Zurich. 2004 diploma at the Zurich University of the Arts with an affair between art and life: a laundromat in St. Petersburg. Freelance work in communications design (concept and design). Lecturer for media studies and design theory at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund. Still laundromat owner.
