Fellowship Programme
The fellowship programme of the Graduate School of the UdK Berlin is a postgraduate and international qualification programme aimed at highly qualified graduates of all subjects who have already developed their own artistic¹ positions and have at least three years of professional artistic experience at the time of application. It offers the opportunity to work intensively for two years on the research and production or completion of one's own artistic research project and to exchange and network across disciplines within a binding study programme and through various formats of public presentations (e.g. "Salon für Ästhetische Experimente").
In addition, the Graduate School offers the opportunity for teaching and project integration within the framework of cooperation between the arts and sciences at the UdK Berlin and individual supervision by both the visiting professor and professors from the fields of fine arts, design, music and performing arts.
The Graduate School is part of the Berlin Centre for Advanced Studies in Arts and Sciences at the Berlin University of the Arts.
¹ Please note that we understand the term “artistic” as based on the disciplines and practices here at UdK, encompassing all four faculties (Fine Arts – Architecture, Media, Design – Music – Performing Arts) which are home to the university.
Information on the structure of the scholarships and the application process can be found on our Application und FAQ pages.
