#6 Horizons of Intuition – Ways to Think and Act from within the Stream of Life – Jan Verwoert
Horizons of Intuition - ways to think and act from within the stream of life
from Henri Bergson to Clarice Lispector
Political depression hits hard when the horizon of action shrinks to zero, as we gasp at how absurdity trumps reality. What could action be born from? Bergson and Lispector say: the stream of life. As intuition zooms into microbiotic zones of rhythm and rhyme, spacing and timing, the world gets wider, and environmental agency becomes real.
The lecture by Jan Verwoert will be held in English.
The series of events is co-funded by the Einstein Foundation Berlin and is a cooperation between the Haus der Kulturen der Welt and the Graduate School at the Berlin Centre for Advanced Studies in Arts and Sciences (BAS) of UdK Berlin.
