When the Unconscious, the Suppressed forge ahead in expressive movements: then these gestures become pathetic. Movements in which opposites clash. They are impure, reversed, masked, contaminated. Drawing, dance and psychoanalysis, embodied by the three participants in this evening’s discussion, ponder how the psyche leaves its trace in visual forms.
