The DFG Research Training Group 1759 “Knowledge in the Arts” was founded on April 1, 2012 at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK).
The DFG Research Training Group 1759 "The Knowledge of the Arts" was a scientific research institution at the UdK Berlin funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The DFG Research Training Group was founded in 2012 and renewed for a second funding period in 2016. It expired on Sept. 30, 2021, after the maximum funding period and pandemic-related extensions. In total, the research projects of 37 doctoral students and seven post-doctoral fellows could be funded within the framework of a coordinated, interdisciplinary program.
