Information about the various events of the Welcome Week for new international students
German courses
B2 and C1 courses
For UdK students the Berlin Career College offers the following fee-based German courses every semester:
- B2 course - semester course or intensive course during the semester break
- C1 course - semester course or intensive course during the semester break
All courses finish with an examination. These B2 and C1 exams are university-internal exams. You will not receive a TestDaF or DSH certificate.

Language courses in the arts
As part of the Studium Generale / Intercultural Mentoring, you can attend specialist language courses for your own artistic discipline and for ECTS credits. The following courses are normally offered:
- Language for music studies
- Language for the theatre, performance and stage arts
- Artistic work and project description: Writing professional texts for the visual arts
- Language for design and architecture
It is not possible to obtain official language certificates in these seminars.
