FINE ARTS
The Berlin University of the Arts Foundation is currently awarding prizes in the field of fine arts, for which UdK Berlin students can find out more on the following pages:

From 2025, the Bernhard Heiliger Prize winners of the Berlin University of the Arts will receive additional funding from the Berlin University of the Arts Foundation. The agreement is initially valid for five years. The Berhard Heiliger Foundation is responsible for the call for applications. Alumni of the Faculty of Fine Arts (graduates, master students or teachers) who work in sculpture and who graduated no more than five years ago are invited to apply in autumn of each year. MUSIC
The Berlin University of the Arts Foundation has been financing the following competitions in the College of Music:
For grants students may apply twice a year at the following two application deadlines: The first application deadline ends on 15 June, the second application deadline ends on 15 November of each year. Prerequisite: Application for financial support from the Berlin University of the Arts Foundation and an informal letter of recommendation issued by a subject teacher. Students must submit both documents to the Dean of the College of Music for approval and then send them to UdK Berlin’s Financial Department: haush3 @intra.udk-berlin.de
DESIGN
Funded by the Berlin University of the Arts Foundation, a competition has been held at irregular intervals by the student council of the Architecture programme in the College of Architecture, Media and Design. Find out more here.
PERFORMING ARTS
At the College of Performing Arts a scholarship called Aribert-Reimann-Stipendium is awarded for composition. Find out more here.
CROSS-FACULTY
It is expected that students will be able to apply for a one-off grant from the Solidarity Fund from spring 2025.
