Internal Reporting Options and Support

Reports of antisemitic incidents can be submitted to:

report-antisemitism_ @udk-berlin.de

Please describe the incident in the email as precisely as possible:

  1. When and where did the antisemitic incident occur?
  2. What happened?
  3. Who was involved in the incident?
  4. Were there any witnesses?

Such reports are essential for documenting and combating antisemitic acts. Even if the incident occurred some time ago, it can still be reported. All reports are treated confidentially and forwarded directly to the team for antisemitism prevention, consisting of the President, Prof. Dr. Norbert Palz, the Chancellor Dr. Ulrike Prechtl-Fröhlich and the Process Coordinator for Antisemitism Prevention, Dr. Michaela Conen (until the position of the Antisemitism Officer with an intersectional perspective is filled).

The antisemitism prevention team handles the processing of the reports. Each incident is documented, upon request even without personal data. You decide how your report and data will be handled. We ensure that every report is carefully reviewed and processed promptly, with an initial response always provided within one week of submission.

The reporting person will then receive further information and advice on next steps, such as external counseling services like those offered by OFEK e.V. or internal support options, like the complaints procedure at the UdK Berlin under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
