Climate protection management

Sebastian Plaga has been employed as climate protection manager at the Berlin University of the Arts from November 2021 to june 2023. In this context, he is entrusted with the preparation of the integrated climate protection concept for the UdK Berlin. In addition to the energy and greenhouse gas balance, the concept includes, among other things, the potential analysis and scenario development as well as the development of measures for a total of 11 different fields of action. Furthermore, communication, controlling and continuation strategies are to be developed, whereby climate protection is to be permanently anchored and implemented at the university. - On this page, the activities related to the work of the climate protection management are presented in a bundled form.

The position of the Climate Protection Manager is funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety based on a resolution of the German Bundestag within the framework of the National Climate Protection Initiative (NKI).
