Institute of Architecture and Urban Development (IAS)
The IAS unifies the departments of Design, Building Planning, Building Construction, Structural Technology, Building Technology and climate design as well as Plastic and Spatial Representation for Architects.
Institute of Product and Process design
The Institute includes the Design degree program, which offers a primarily project-based course of study in which students learn to work independently on complex design tasks.
Institute of Experimental Fashion and Textile Design
Fashion design students are empowered to critically question predefined design language in the textile and clothing industry and to confidently set creative and new standards.
Institute of Time-Based Media
The IZM is a focal point for media-related teaching and research at UdK Berlin. Teachers from several courses are located at the Medienhaus, thus making it possible for them to be connected and to exchange on an interdisciplinary level.
Institute of Transmedia Design
At the Institute of Transmedia Design complex processes of diverse topics will be analyzed and presented in a descriptive way.
