Degree Programs
Fine Arts
The Fine Arts degree program acquaints students with a variety of artistic means of expression, enabling them to develop their own forms of expression in preparation for careers as freelance artists. The program is based on the teaching of artistic practice, with individual guidance and support by our teachers.
Teaching degree with focus on fine arts
Introducing children and young people to the arts in ways that support and promote their artistic development is a task of fundamental significance. Degree programs for aspiring teachers therefore have a special place in the College of Fine Arts.
Teaching-related degree programs are offered as a tiered Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Berlin. In order to teach in schools, a teaching-related master’s program must be completed after the bachelor’s degree.
Art in Context
The postgraduate Master’s degree program Art in Context is directed at those who plan to practice their art in a social context.
