Vita

Veronika Rädler (age 23) will be studying in Prof. Elisabeth Kufferath's class at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media from October 2024. She completed her Bachelor's degree with Prof. Tanja Becker-Bender at the HfMT Hamburg. She is a prizewinner of the 2021 and 2023 the Elise-Meyer Competition as well as the Instrument Competition of the Sinfonima Foundation Mannheim. Most recently, she became a laureate of the 31st competition of the German Musical Instrument Fund and was awarded the loan of an outstanding violin by Carlo Giuseppe Testore, Milano around 1710.

With her piano trio, the Tovesco Trio, she won the 5th Prize, audience Prize, and the special prize for the best semifinal at the International Chamber Music Competition Pinerolo e Torino in 2023. In February 2024, they received the “Kulturförderpreis” from the Berenberg Bank, which was handed over to the trio at the Elbphilharmonie. The ensemble, consisting of Francesco Maccarrone and Luca Giovannini, has been playing together for three years and regularly performs concerts in Germany and Italy. The trio is mentored by Dirk Mommertz and Niklas Schmidt and has also participated in masterclasses with members of the Vogler Quartet, as well as with Thomas Hoppe and Eberhard Feltz.

Veronika gained orchestral experience with the Bavarian State Youth Orchestra, with which she performed internationally from 2015-2019, ultimately as concertmaster. She also plays with the orchestra of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, again also in leading positions. In addition, she frequently performs and tours with the young Hamburg-based chamber orchestra, "ensemble reflektor".

Veronika has received further decisive musical impulses at master classes with Mihaela Martin, Priya Mitchell, Sophia Jaffé, Elisabeth Kufferath and Nora Chastain, as well as from Midori and Tabea Zimmermann, to name the most recent.
