The Ensemble Baroque of the UdK Berlin is the namesake for various formations and groupings of the instrumental classes of the Institute for Early Music.

The Ensemble Baroque of the UdK Berlin is a variable group of students focussing on period performance practice, primarily of the 16th to 18th centuries, including consort, chamber and orchestral formations. Projects are mentored by teachers of the Institute who coach and sometimes perform alongside the students.

Performances of the Ensemble Baroque are open to the public and generally presented in the context of the Institute for Early Music in the Kammersaal Friedenau. Additional performances include collaborations with the Theatre Brandenburg, the Uckermärkische Musiksommer and the Ensemble I Confidenti Potsdam.
