The 10 minute film is an excerpt from a long-term observation of two people who were evicted from their apartments in Berlin Wedding in late 2019 and early 2020.
The statement "every notice is an eviction" of the protagonist Daniel Z. is at the beginning of the film. The film shows the act of eviction, the intrusion of state power into the private sphere, which is filmed from an empathetic observing point of view towards the protagonists. They are shown as acting subjects and not as one of the 10 "victims" who are evicted from their apartments every day in Berlin. They try to preserve their pride at the moment when the state deprives them of their right to live.
