The nominees for the UdK Berlin: The President’s Fine Arts Award 2021

The President’s Fine Arts Award is annually tendered in the College of Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts. Since 1997, a jury of renowned persons from Berlin's art and culture scene and under the chairmanship of the university president Prof. Martin Rennert, is rewarding three master class students of one year. The prize includes a monographic catalogue and an exhibition at an established art institution in Berlin.

For the second time in a row, due to the corona pandemic, the exhibition of all nominees for the President’s Fine Arts Award, from which the three winners are then chosen, unfortunately could not take place. Therefore, we are grateful to the jury that it has faced this special challenge of our time with a great deal of tact and has selected the nominees in a digital jury session and from there the prize winners.
