Internal Reporting Options and Support

Observations or experiences of antisemitic incidents can be reported to the Antisemitism Prevention Team, the President, Prof. Dr. Norbert Palz, the Chancellor, Dr. Ulrike Prechtl-Fröhlich, and the Process Manager for Antisemitism Prevention, Dr. Michaela Conen, at:

report-antisemitism_ @udk-berlin.de

Please describe the incident in the email as precisely as possible:

  1. When and where did the antisemitic incident occur?
  2. What happened?
  3. Who was involved in the incident?
  4. Were there any witnesses?

Such reports are essential for documenting and combating antisemitic incidents. Even if the incident occurred some time ago, it can still be reported.

Every incident will be documented, and, upon request, without personal data. The reporters decide how their report and data will be handled. We ensure that each report is carefully reviewed and processed promptly, with an initial response always provided within one week of the report being submitted

The reporting person will then receive further information and advice on next steps, such as external counseling services like those offered by OFEK e.V. or internal support options, like the complaints procedure at the UdK Berlin under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

If you wish for your report to be treated confidentially, you can contact Dr. Michaela Conen, Process Officer for Antisemitism Prevention, directly. Forwarding to the President and/or Chancellor will only occur with your consent.
