Daniel Valencia Ferrá studied product design at the UdK Berlin. He designed and produced a limited vase series for the UdK:shop based on the Rundgang Design 2022 by Marcus Bücken.

The two vase shapes are based on the ground plans of the UNI.T - Theatre of the UdK Berlin and the Institute for Church Music.

The innovative 3D ceramic printing process enables the realisation of small series without the need for casting moulds. Furthermore, the digital nature of this process makes it ideal for the production of different sizes. The surface ornaments were made by hand so that each piece is unique.

Daniel Valencia Ferrá used Terra Nigra stoneware for the body of the vessel and pigmented porcelain for the surface ornamentation.
