Shinoh Nam
Shinoh Nam's work explores the fragmentation and collapse of architecture. Real buildings appear as artefacts in Nam's work. His works create philosophical moments and draw on materials that transform over time. In the contemplation of his work, an individual and unique architecture emerges that reflects and questions social absurdities and dogmas.
Nam was born in South Korea and graduated in 2022 with a master's degree in fine arts from the Universität der Künste in Berlin in the class of Monica Bonvicini. His works have been exhibited at the Kunsthalle Bauhaus in Dessau, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Berlin, Karma International in Zurich and the Darmstädter Sezession in Darmstadt, among others.
