UdK Berlin is committed to gender equality in studies, teaching, further qualification, research, art, and administration. We take an intersectional approach: We aim to identify and prevent existing disadvantages and discrimination and to create equal opportunities and development opportunities for all university members regardless of gender. Artistic universities face unique challenges in implementing gender equality policies due to the distinct nature of qualifications and career paths for students, academic staff, artistic staff, and professors.
