We cordially invite you to the exhibition Presence at a Distance between November 29 to December 1, 2018, with Jacob Erik, Lukas Grundmann, and students from SoundS (Nicolas Daleman, Elizabeth Davis, Hugo Esquinca, Eunice Fong, Kassiani Goulakou, Nina Guo, Marios Pavlou, Francisco Petrucci, and Farshad Xajehnassiri). The artists will show performances and installations at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt exploring the paradoxical ubiquity of radio waves. Their works i.e. examine the process of translation in radio, let radio-play sound effects meet post-internet aesthetics, or mix live transmissions with archived material.
