Brandon LaBelle ist Künstler, Autor und Theoretiker. Er beschäftigt sich mit Stimme, Klangkultur und Fragen der Handlungsmacht. Er entwickelt und präsentiert künstlerische Projekte und Performances im internationalen Kontext, oft in Zusammenarbeit mit anderen und im öffentlichen Raum. LaBelle ist Autor des Buches Sonic Agency (2018), dem Lexicon of the Mouth (2014), dem Diary of an Imaginary Egyptian (2012), von Acoustic Territories (2010) und Background Noise (2006, 2015).
