Gal Golob finished his studies at the Conservatory for Music and Balet Ljubljana as a classical cellist and jazz double bassist and continued his studies at the renowned Jazz Institute Berlin. He has performed at many competitions (most recently he was awarded 2nd place at Jazzon 2022) and festivals such as Jazzopen Stuttgart, Druga Godba, Jazz Festival Ljubljana, Bayerisches Jazzweekend, Futurum Festival Leipzig, Festival MENT and others.
