Through various readings, specific film projections and conversation, as well as practical sensitive- exercises, students will be invited to ‘listen to voices” -that do not necessarily occupy the epicenter-, and to create new commons, based on empathy and resonance. And to shape “a third place”, which could allow affective networks to grow. After all, the city- “the polis”- is a conglomerate of citizens in the platonic sense of the word, and not just a geographical topography.

Das Blockseminar von Marina Fokidis wird im Sommersemester 2019 fortgesetzt.
Ergänzend dazu findet im WS 2018/19 ein praktisches Kamera-Seminar von Lilli Kuschel statt, in dem Filmprojekte zum Thema Site - Sensitivity entwickelt werden.

Das Seminar wird in englischer Sprache gehalten.
Offen für alle Studierende in KUM, weitere Studiengänge sowie Gasthörer nach Vereinbarung.
Das Seminar ist für die Fachklasse Experimenteller Film / Medienkunst obligatorisch.

Vorraussetzungen sind Kenntnisse der Grundlagen in Kunst und Medientheorien, sowie regelmäßige Teilnahme und Herstellung einer praktischen oder theoretischen Arbeit.
