After graduating with an MFA from CalArts, Gary Schultz moved to Berlin where he founded the label Care Of Editions in 2013. The label treats distribution as a performative material and releases its music through a range of conceptual business models. For his curatorial project at the Palais des Beaux Arts in Vienna, Grid for the Modern World, Schultz created an online exhibition space for mixes by pairing them together with 3d screensavers textured with site-specific archival imagery.
